Serving Size of Fluffy Lemon Pie recipe: 8

Ingredients of Fluffy Lemon Pie:

  1. 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling, divided
  2. 1 Ready made  Pie Crust
  3. 1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened*
  4. 1 cup cold milk
  5. 1 package (4-serving size) lemon flavor instant pudding & pie filling
  6. 1 tub (8 oz.) frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed, divided


Directions to prepare Fluffy Lemon Pie:

  1. Spread half of pie filling in crust.
  2. In large bowl beat cream cheese with wire whisk until fluffy. Gradually whisk in milk. Add pudding mix. Beat with whisk about 2 minutes more or until smooth. Whisk in half of whipped topping

  3. Carefully spread pudding mixture over pie filling in crust. Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding mixture. Top with remaining pie filling.
  4. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or until set. Garnish as desired. Store in refrigerator.


Special Note: A pie is a baked dish which is usually made of a pastry dough casing that covers or completely contains a filling of various sweet or savory ingredients.

Pies are defined by their crusts. A filled pie (also single-crust or bottom-crust), has pastry lining the baking dish, and the filling is placed on top of the pastry but left open. A top-crust pie has the filling in the bottom of the dish and is covered with a pastry or other covering before baking. A two-crust pie has the filling completely enclosed in the pastry shell. Shortcrust pastry is a typical kind of pastry used for pie crusts, but many things can be used, including baking powder biscuits, mashed potatoes, and crumbs.
