Serving Size: 2-4

Ingredients:

  1. Rice powder (Using for APPAM) -2 cup
  2. Rava -2 Big Spoon
  3. Yeast -1 tsp
  4. Sugar -1 tsp
  5. Water -3 tbs
  6. Coconut water -from 1 coconut
  7. Grated coconut -3 cup
  8. Cumin seeds paste -1 pinch
  9. Sugar -1 cup
  10. Egg White -from 1 egg
  11. Ghee -1 tsp
  12. Raisins -10

 

Directions:

  1. Cook rava with 1 cup of water .(it should be loose)

Keep it for cooling

  1. Add yeast, sugar with water for fermenting (Yeast should be come up)
  1. Mix Rice powder,Rava mix,Yeast mix  in coconut water.

Keep this mixture for 1/2 – 1 hr  for fermenting

  1. Grind `coconut  in mixer .(should be very soft)
  1. Mix coconut paste ,sugar with fermented batter

Keep it for 1- 1 1/2 hr for again fermenting

  1. After fermenting the batter ,it will really come up
  1. Then add slowly the  beated egg white.
  1. Mix well
  1. Take vessel for steaming and spread ghee on it
  1. Pour batter on it (Take batter from sides not from center)
  1. Put some raisins in it
  1. Steam this batter for 30 min (or until get cooked)
