First step in making the festive recipe if Sakinalu is to wash the rice and soak it in water for half a day.
Drain the water and transfer the rice to a wide plate, spread it and keep it side for 10 minutes.
Then pour the soaked rice into mixer jar and grind it into powder.
Sieve the powder and separate the fine powder. Grind the remaing particles into fine powder.
Now take wide bowl and add the rice powder into the bowl and follow it with the sesame seeds, carom seeds, jeera and salt.
Pour water little by little and mix it well to make dough.
Now take a wide and clean cloth, wet it and spread on a wide plate.
Then apply some oil or water to your hands and take little amount of dough into your hands.
Pipe the dough with your hands in circular form making three to four circles.
Now repeat the same process until all the dough is finished.
Let them dry for two hours.
After the dough is dry enough, remove them using a flat spoon.
Now take thick bottomed vessel and pour oil required for deep frying into it. Let the oil heat.
Once the oil is hot enough, add the dried circles into the oil and fry.
Fry them until they turn light brown and remove with the help of holed ladle into a bowl with tissue paper.
Store them in a container after all the Sakinalu are fried.

Note : Sakinalu are made during important festivals in Andhra region. They may be served as snacks.
