Add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, saffron and salt in a mixing bowl and mix well.
Marinate the chicken in this mixture for four hours or over night.
Peel potatoes and cut in two pieces.
Cut green chilies lengthwise.
Pour oil in a pan and add potatoes along with tomatoes in it.
Sprinkle salt to taste over them.
Placed marinated chicken over them.
Spread green chilies and black pepper and cover.
Seal with dough.
Cook for 5 minutes on high flame.
Then cook for 40 minutes on low flame.
Remove seal and fry till water dries.
