Ingredients required to prepare Kodiguddu Poradu :
Eggs – 4
Onion – 2
Green chili – 1
Mustard – ½ tbsp
Jeera – 1 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tbsp
Pulses (Popuginjalu) – 1 tbsp
Curry leaves – 2 leaf lets
Salt – required amount
Oil – 3 – 4 tbsp
Directions required to prepare Kodiguddu poradu :
The first step to prepare kodiguddu poradu is to gather the eggs, onions and green chilies.
Peel the onions and clean the onions and green chilies with water. Then slice the green chilies and onions into small pieces.
Now take a bowl and pour 3 – 4 tbsps of oil into the bowl and let it heat.
Once the oil is hot, add ½ tbsp of mustard, 1 tbsp of jeera, 1 tbsp of pulses and fry them for half a minute. Then add ¼ tbsp of turmeric powder and curry leaves and fry them for another half a minute.
Then add sliced green chilies and onions to the fried mixture and cook them for two to three minutes.
Once the onions are cooked crack the eggs and add the egg yolk to the onions and cook it for four to five minutes.
Once the egg is cooked properly add required amount of salt and red chili powder and let it cook for one or two minutes and off the stove.
With this Kodiguddu poradu is ready to be served with hot rice or chapatti.
Note : Kodiguddu poradu is consumed in combination with rice or chapatti. Kodiguddu poradu is one of tasty recipes which are very easy and quick to prepare.
