To prepare kodiguddu karam, we need to gather eggs and boil them in water for about 20 minutes.
Once the eggs are boiled peel the shell and keep the boiled eggs aside.
Then take bowl and add 4 – 5 tbsps of oil into it and let it heat.
Add ¼ tbsp of mustard, 1/4 tbsp of jeera to the hot oil and fry for half a minute. Then add curry leaves and smashed garlic cloves to the oil and fry them for a minute.
After they are fried add 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 2 tbsps of red chili powder and required amount of salt to the oil and mix everything properly for a minute or two.
Now take the boiled eggs which are kept aside and make up to vertical slits on each egg and add them to the bowl with oil mixture.
Then mix everything properly and cook for two more minutes.
With this the Kodiguddu karam is ready to be served.
Note : Kodiguddu karam is consumed with hot rice and ghee. However, consuming it with excessive spice is not good for health and might lead stomach problems.
About : Eggs are considered to be one of the most healthiest foods. They contain minerals like Calcium and vitamins such as A and B. Egg is considered to be healthier than egg yolk.
