The mixture of cauliflower gives a unique taste and texture to the recipe.This also reduce the bitterness of the vegetable too
Ingredients
Two cup of Sliced Karela or bitter gourd
Three to four teaspoons of Oil
one cup of Chopped Onions
Half cup of finely grated fresh cauliflower
Half cup of finely grated coriander powder
Two tablespoon of Bengal gram flour ( Besan )
One teaspoon chili powder.
Two teaspoon of coriander powder
Salt as per requirement.
Instructions
Preparing the bitter gourd
Clean the bitter gourd properly.
Cut the bitter gourd and de-seed it.
Slice the karela in to long pieces.
Now in a thick bottomed broad pan add oil and heat it.
Add sliced bitter gourd in to it and mix properly.

While stiring it occasionally, cook it in a medium to low flame for around 10 to 12 minutes.
Cook till it is brown.
Final preparation
Meanwhile while the karela is getting cooked, in a bowl, mix the ingredients Chopped Onions, fine-grated fresh cauliflower, rated coriander powder, Besan flour, chili powder, coriander powder and salt.
Once the bitter gourd is brown add the above prepared mixture in to the pan.
Saute for one or two minutes by stirring occasionally.
Add more oil if necessary until the ingredients are properly sauted.
