A baked potato, or jacket potato, is the edible result of baking a potato. When well cooked, a baked potato has a fluffy interior and a crisp skin.It may be served with fillings and condiments such as butter, cheese or ham.

Ingredients for Jack Potato
Potetos : 4 large, scrubbed, Pierced few times with a fork Minor Ingradient
Unsalted Butter: 55 Gms
Salt : As per requirement
Pepper : Freshly ground black pepper
Sour Cream : 1/4 Cup, I used Godrej Nature’s Basket Soured Cream Topping – Discovery
Cheddar Cheese:Grated coarsely( one to one and half cups)
Toppings: Baked beans or cheese or chicken tikka etc.
Directions to prepare Jack Potato for Jack Potato
Heat the oven to 220 Celcius
Keep the potatos in the oven and bake till it can be easly pierced using a fork. ( For me it took 1 hour)
Cut a slit on the top of the potato and scoop the flesh n a bowl keeting the skin intact
Mash the remaining potato lightly with a spoon and add all the above minor ingradients(keep aside 20 grams of cheese aside for toppings)
Fill the poteto shell with the mixture including toppings, salt and pepper to taste forming a mount on the top
Keept the poteto in the baking seat and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes
Sprinkle remaining cheese and toppings and bake just until melted.
Serve the piping hot immediately.
