Healthy Greek Salad Recipe – How to make

A Greek cuisine. Typically made from thinly cut fresh onion rings, tomato pieces, cucumber slices cheese and olives, generally seasoned with oregano and salt with a typical dressing of olive oil.

Ingredients to prepare Greek Salad

Red thick large tomatoes 2

Lettuce leaf : 2

Red onion thinly sliced : 1

Green Capsicum chopped: 1

Red Capsicum chopped: 1

Black deseeded olives : 20-25

Cucumber sliced : 1

Feta Cheese : 1 Cup

Extra virgin Olive Oil: 6  tablespoons

Lemon Juice : 1 lemon

Coarsely grounded pepper: As per taste

Oregano : 1 teaspoon

Directions to prepare Greek Salad

Mix the tomatoes, cucumber, capsicum, onion and lettuce as well as feta cheese in a bowl.

Whisk  olive oil, black pepper, oregano and lemon juice in a small bowl and pour as a dressing over the above mix of vegetables

Toss the salad properly and serve.

Tips: if you like add beans and raisins (as per your requirement) to get a regional island taste.
