This is a street food you come across in most parts of the Tamilnadu. This is delicious as well as easy to cook and an healthy option which is rich in protiens. Verkkadalai is boiled ground nut which is mixed with onion, coriander leaves and other local vegetable mixes to give it a rich taste.

 A Tamilnadu traditional snack. tasty and crunchy Medu Vada can be found in any of the teashop in  Tamilnadu. It grinded urad daal mixed with green spices and deep fried with crispy outer covering and fluffy center. Eaten best with coconut chutney.

  Vada Pav is a vegetarian Maharashtra snack again you will find in any street corner of Maharashtra. It is also known as Indian burger which is made up of spiced up mashed potato deep fried and served between a pav( similar to bun) with green chilly and garlic chutney. Very tasty and I am a fan of vada pav.

Wheat balls stuffed with sattu(roasted chickpea flour) mixed with spices and  herbs and roasted over coal with lot of ghee. Litti Chokha is served best with pickles or yogurt. Gaining popularity in India as many celebrities endorsed the taste of the Litti Chokha.
