Ingredients
  • Half cup of split green gram or otherwise known as moong dal
  • Half inch piece of Ginger
  • Quarter cup of finely chopped onions
  • Half cup of Tofu or paneer according to your choice
  • Two tablespoons of coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Two green chillies finely chopped.
  • Half cup grated carrot
  • One tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • Homemade tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Four bread slices
  • Salt as per your temperament
  • Oil half tablespoon
  • Half tablespoon of butter
Instructions
  1. Wash the green gram and soak it in clean water overnight
  2. Now make a thick paste of Green Gram, coriander leaves, green chilli and Ginger
  3. Now mix the paste with grated carrot, salt grated paneer/tofu and onion
  4. Take one slice of bread, apply homemade tomato ketchup liberally onto it.
  5. Spread a generous portion of the above prepared paste on to the bread slice.
  6. No heat a flat Pan and and add alf teaspoon of butter into it
  7. Now take the bread slice which has paste on it and put the bread mixer(paste) side down on the heated pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. This will help the paste to get cooked properly
  9. Add some butter on top of the bread and flip it over
  10. Cook until it is crispy and golden brown.
  11. Take one plane bread slice and apply butter on to it and toast it Until it is golden brown
  12. Keep it over the slice with cooked paste.
  13. The high protein don't is ready to serve.
  14. Serve it with mint chutney.
