Cauliflower sauted in fresh ground masalas and spicened up with garlic

Serves: 1 Bowl
  • One medium Cauliflower separated in to small florets
  • Three teaspoons of chopped garlic
  • One teaspoons julienned ginger
  • One teaspoon of Oil
  • Four medium onion sliced
  • One teaspoon of coarsely grinded red chili ( use a mixer grinder )
  • Quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • One teaspoon of coriander powder
  • Salt as per your taste
  • Half teaspoon of garam Masala
  • Small bunch of coriander leaves.
  • 7 to 8 garlic cloves for frying
Preparation of the cauliflower
  1. Add a teaspoon of oil in a thick bottomed pan.
  2. Stir fry cauliflower for few minutes till it has slight brown speck here and there and keep it aside
Prepare the Masala Mix
  1. Now add bit more oil in same pan and add onion and salute till it is translucent.
  2. Add ginger and garlic and sauté for few minutes till the raw smell is away.
  3. Now add chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder and Garam Masala in to the pan and mix ot properly.
  4. Sauté it for a while.
Mixing cauliflower in the masala
  1. Now add the previously prepared cauliflower and mix properly.
  2. Cook for few minutes and transfer it in to the serving bowl.
For Garnishing
  1. Now in a small pan add enough oil for frying the garlic cloves
  2. Fry till it is looks dry and become light brown.
  3. Garnish the fried garlic on the cauliflower in the serving bowl
  4. Chop the coriander leaves finely and garnish it on top of the lasooni gobi
  5. Serve it hot.
