Brush a little oil on the steaks and season. Heat a char grill pan or use an outdoor grill. Grill the steaks for two to four minutes each side (two minutes for rare, three for medium, four for well done) depending on the thickness. Let them rest under foil while you cook the rest of the dish.
Heat the oil in a wok. Add the ginger, garlic and chilli. Stir-fry for a minute or until the garlic and ginger turn golden. Add the vegetables and soy and toss for three to four minutes.
Serve the steaks with the vegetables, quartered limes and some steamed rice.
