Chicken Chow mein

Serving size:2-3

 

Ingredients:

 

  1. 1 tbsp oil
  2. 2 chicken breasts sliced
  3. 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  4. 1 onion thinly sliced
  5. 2 carrots sliced into matchsticks
  6. 2-3 blocks  Medium Egg Noodles
  7. 100g beansprouts
  8. 3 tbsp s Soy Sauce
  9. 1 tbsp sugar
  10. ½ tsp salt
  11. 1 tsp sesame oil

 

Directions:

 

  1. Place the noodles in boiling water and cook as per the instructions.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok or deep-sided frying pan.
  3. Stir-fry the chicken for 4 minutes.
  4. Toss in the garlic, onion, carrots, (plus the green beans if desired) and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the beansprouts, soy sauce, sugar, salt, sesame oil and noodles.
  6. Mix the ingredients well, heat through and serve immediately to savour the fresh flavors.
