Pudding is a food which will be either a dessert or a savory dish. The word pudding is believed be originated from the French word “boudin”, which is originally from the Latin  term “botellus”, that means “small sausage”, referring to cased meats utilized in Medieval European puddings. In some countries pudding is also called “custards” if they are “egg-thickned”. In modern days pudding is sweet dish which is basically a grain product or any other  binder product such as flour, eggs, butter eggs or cereals etc which forms in to solid mass after baking or boiling, just like  sausages.

Serving size of Bread Pudding :3

Ingredients to prepare Bread pudding

  1. Bread : 1 small or 8 pieces
  2. Eggs  : 2
  3. Milk : 1/2 cup.
  4. Butter : 25 gm.
  5. Sugar : To taste.
  6. Vanilla essence : 1 Tea spoon.

Directions to prepare Bread pudding

  1. Take only the soft white part of the Bread and make it in to small bits and keep aside.
  2.  In a bowl beat the egg well. Add milk and sugar with egg and mix properly. Keep aside
  3. Take the bread crumbs and mix it properly with butter. Add essence into it.
  4. Add the  beaten egg mixture in to the bread and let it soak properly.
  5. Transfer it in to a dish and steam or bake
  6. Keep it in fridge and serve it cool
