Black Halwa

Serving Size: 400 gms

Ingredients:

  1. Roasted rice flour – 2 tables spoons.
  2. Coconut Cream – 1 packet/ 200ml
  3. Palm Sugar/Molasses/Gula Melaka/ Karipetty – 250 grams
  4. Cardamom- 4crushed
  5. Cashew nuts- 1/4 cup or more (split into two)
  6. Ghee- 4 tbsp

 

Directions:

  1. Crush the gula melaka and add to a cup of water and mix the rice flour to this.
  2. You can make a syrup of gula melaka with some water if you think there is dust particles in it and add the strained liquid.
